Bike For Your Brain-A-Thon

Bikers, walkers or runners wanted! Get signed up now for a BIKE FOR YOUR BRAIN-A-THON  sponsored byMental Health America of Knox County, formerly Mental Health Association of Knox County on May 17, 2009 (Rain date is May 24). This will be a fun-filled event for the whole family on the Kokosing Gap Trail.

Preregistrations are being taken now until May 1, 2009. A free T-shirt will be given to those who preregister with an entry fee of $20 and/or pledges amounting to $20 or more Riders may choose to ride the whole trail or a part of it. Registrations will also be taken the day of the event at the Memorial Park Shelter House beginning at 12:00 Noon. Event kickoff is at 1:00 p.m. There will be other activities along the way and door prizes. Community sponsors for this event are: Dean’s Jewelry, Home Instead Senior Care, Knox Community Hospital, McDonald’s, Pressler and Carpenter Family Dentistry, T-Shirt Express, and several individuals.
