Mental health is a serious issue on college campuses. Mental health conditions are most common during the college years and early adulthood, and many college students face a barrage of daily challenges that can affect their mental health and wellness. Yet, a real need continues to improve understanding of mental health and mental illness among students, school officials and the public-and to improve prevention and treatment interventions for college students.
