Laura Galbreath serves as the director of Healthcare Reform at Mental Health America. Ms. Galbreath tracks policy trends, conducts policy research and analysis, and provides technical assistance on a variety of healthcare issues, including the Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit, Medicaid reform, mental health parity and criminal justice.
Prior to joining Mental Health America in 2005, she worked in Atlanta, Ga. as a grassroots organizer for several organizations including Mental Health America of Georgia and the Edison Group, a national consulting firm specializing in grassroots communication strategies.
Ms. Galbreath received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Central Florida and is pursuing her Masters in Public Policy at George Mason University.
