  • Latino parents' awareness of bullying in schools and its impact on youth

The call was hosted by Mental Health America Chairman of the Board, Dr. Sergio Aguilar-Gaxiola, M.D., Ph.D., a leading expert in Latino/Mexican American mental health.  Dr. Aguilar-Gaxiola is professor of Clinical Internal Medicine & Director of the Center for Reducing Health Disparities at the University of California, Davis Department of Medicine (Sacramento, California).

Also participating was Jesús Sanchez, a gay Chicano youth who bravely shared his experiences with bullying and prejudice.
