Dr. David Shern Discusses FundaMENTAL Health Program on Disabilites at Work Radio

Dr. David Shern, Ph.D., president and CEO of Mental Health America, appeared on Disabilities At Work Radio to discuss the FundaMENTAL Health Project which highlights the relationship between mental illness and other co-morbid conditions, and their financial impact to employers. The program can be heard here.

Dr. Shern was joined by representatives of the Mental Health Association of New Jersey - Bob Kley, Associate Executive Director; Eric Arauz, national mental health advocate and Employer Outreach Specialist; and Andy Germak, President and CEO of Mental Health Association of Morris County, NJ.

The panelists discuss making mental health a business priority and what is happening at the national level. The conversation then turns to initiatives that New Jersey is undertaking, such as Project A.C.E., which was created to help people with disabilities re-enter the workforce
